VQ35HR Wiring Harness Services

The following list contains information about VQ35HR wiring harness conversions. Note: *Requires NATS removal, which costs $450*. For the “Universal” applications, these are for non-specific chassis and we only supply four wire leads: ground, 12V, 12V switchable, and fuel pump. Customers will NEED to acquire the 3rd harness plug that goes into the ECU from the dash wiring harness. For specific chassis applications not listed, Nissan or otherwise, you must call for a quote.

The VQ35HR ECU is different than the VQ35DE in that the EFI wiring harness (the one that goes from the ECU to the entire engine) has two large plugs that go onto the ECU. There is a seperate plug that connects the dash harness to the EFI harness. Whereas on the VQ35HR ECU there are three plugs, two are from the EFI harness and the third is from the dash harness.

WE NEED THIS THIRD HARNESS IN ORDER TO WIRE UP THE VQ35HR engine harness. Customers NEED to acquire this 3rd harness plug and send it to us with their other components if they need the VQ35HR harness done by us. It is difficult for us to acquire this third harness ourselves without buying the entire dash harness. If customers are buying their complete engine swap with harness and ECU they are in a better position to acquire this plug with their swap.
